[I was reading in the New Testament and the following verses touched my heart.]
(Luk 5:4-11 KJV) Now when He had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 5:6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 5:7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. 5:8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Yahshua's knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Master. 5:9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: 5:10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Yahshua said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. 5:11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
[They were working near where Yahshua was teaching and heard His words and Simon Peter must have been impressed for he obeyed. Look at the reward the entire crew received for the obedience of one man. We never know who will be blessed by our example of obedience, but be sure it is known and noted.
Peter recognized that Yahshua was more righteous than he was based on hearing and sight. So it is with others, they hear us speak and then watch to see if our actions match our words. We need to constantly do the same less we become careless of speech or action and slip back into old habits and lose our witness.
Yahshua's first words to the three were, Fear Not! Fear of the unknown keeps many from even attempting to follow Yahshua, for others it is the fear of failure, for others the fear of ridicule, we are all beset by fear from time to time. Yahshua gave then reassurance coupled with a promise they could not have fully understood at the moment. In spite of fear they forsook all and followed Him. What, if anything, is keeping you from following where He has asked you to go?]
(Deu 4:29-33 KJV) But if from thence thou shalt seek Yahweh your Almighty, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 4:30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to Yahweh your Almighty, and shalt be obedient unto His voice; 4:31 (For Yahweh your Almighty is a merciful Almighty;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them. 4:32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that Almighty created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? 4:33 Did ever people hear the voice of Almighty speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?
['From this day forward if you seek Me’, Yahweh your Almighty, and I Yahweh do promise to make Myself known unto you! But you must seek Me with your whole heart, not just when you are in trouble because you have become disobedient. Not in those later days after you have polluted the land and you approach Me with half your heart and expect Me to hear you and reply in kindness after the way you have set Me aside and polluted My worship, why should I hear your pleas then?'
The answer is in verse 31. 'Because of the covenant I have made with your fathers which I have not forgotten even though you live as if your fathers and I had not talked face to face and I let them live to tell others about Me and how to live righteously. Never before has this happened.'
Exodus speaks to what has happened and what will come to pass and it speaks true! In spite of what wonders are performed most people soon lose the spark that set them on fire to do the work of Yahweh. If Sabbath is the only time you spend time with Yahweh it is easy to live the other six days as if you have only a passing acquaintance, and not as if you have entered into covenant to live according to the regulations Yahweh laid out as righteous and beneficial to our physical and spiritual health. This nation has set aside all the commandments except those that have to do with assets. Today you can break most laws and receive a slap on the hand compared to 100 years ago, but touch the pocketbook and see what happens. Murder 3-15, embezzlement, 8-30. I have seen it happen, and the murderer will make parole first because their minimum is less. Not Yahweh's way or will.]
(Jer 51:7-10 BBE) Babylon has been a gold cup in the hand of the Most High which has made all the earth overcome with wine: the nations have taken of her wine, and for this cause the nations have gone off their heads. 51:8 Sudden is the downfall of Babylon and her destruction: make cries of grief for her; take sweet oil for her pain, if it is possible for her to be made well. 51:9 We would have made Babylon well, but she is not made well: give her up, and let us go everyone to his country: for her punishment is stretching up to heaven, and lifted up even to the skies. 51:10 The Most High has made clear our righteousness: come, and let us give an account in Zion of the work of Yahweh our Almighty.
[Yahweh used Babylon to chastise Israel, but Babylon refused to change after Daniel's messages to the king. So Yahweh gave her up to destruction, to never be a nation again. As far as I know Israel is the only nation to keep its nationality even when it had no land. If we look at the USA we see that Yahweh used this country, first as a shelter for His persecuted peoples, then as a shelter for His Word. In the last 103 years we have been used to punish those who have oppressed His people. But we have gone past that to inviting ourselves to police countries who do not want us to put our nose in their business. We no longer defend Yahweh's Word, but pass laws to forbid its teachings. When I opened my computer the first ad was showing a rich man fleeing this country, and yes many are fleeing and not from the flu, and they are taking their riches with them. Over the last 20 years I have been advised by several people to flee to South America. Why would I go to a continent with a mainly Catholic religion? Where I would not speak the language, nor know the financial workings for they do not operate on our system, where there would be no support physically, spiritually, or economically, and where my beliefs would be blamed for their problems. Why would you think you can outrun Yahweh's punishment for the blood of innocence children and the defaming of His word? Rather let us pray for repentance on the part of our leaders and all those who follow blindly. Our leaders are not the only ones responsible - Yahweh's people, those claiming Him as Father, have enough votes to stop evil laws from being passed and to punish those who insist on them by removing our support, but do we even vote?]
(Deu 31:28-29 KJV) Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. 31:29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of Yahweh, to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands.
[As it was with Israel so it will be with this country, we who have been blessed above all nations of today, and in all history with the exception of Israel. But there is hope! If we as a nation will repent Yahweh will hear us and come to our rescue rather than forsaking us in our time of trouble, it is what He has always done for His people when their hearts turn toward Him.]
(Isa 29:14 KJV) Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
[Where are the wise of this land? Do they not have to flee in order to survive? Are not gags put in the mouths of those who would teach us to return to the basics of righteousness as taught by Yahweh and not men?]
(Isa 26:17-18 BBE) As a woman with child, whose time is near, is troubled, crying out in her pain; so have we been before you, O Most High. 26:18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have given birth to wind; no salvation has come to the earth through us, and no children have come into the world.
[I spoke with a lady who has recently returned from Africa where her children are serving as well drilling missionaries. She was frustrated by the lack of practical observance of the Sabbath where the women were expected to continue to work in the kitchen and were never afforded a chance to visit or rest. When she questioned this she was told they will get their turn, but not when it would happen. We have sent people and funds around the world to spread the Good News, but have not properly instructed the peoples that obedience is required in all things – even those that go against local custom. I have heard all the arguments on both sides of this question and yet where should man draw a line different than what Yahweh has drawn? I see here at our feasts where rules are bent? To attract the young? I understand the need to allow for youthful spirited expression, but lets keep it separate from the world. It is a heart thing! If their hearts are touched by Yahweh they will follow the narrow way, if it is just 'I want to be with my friends' they will leave eventually and take some with them bound by earthly affections. If we show them love, respect, and understanding they will return if they do leave for the world is a cold place without heart. We need to teach and stress how valuable they are to the heart of Yahweh and thus to our hearts in a personal way. But never by bending the rules. Pray and ask Yahweh to show you how to deal with the questioned requirement and make sure it is a requirement of Yahweh and not man. The heart involvement is what is important, not the numbers. Better one true heart than a dozen halfhearted who will betray the trust put in them.]
(Dan 11:30 TLV) The ships of Kittim will come against him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent his rage against the set-apart covenant. When he returns, he will favor those who forsake the set-apart covenant.
[I am a firm believer that what goes around, comes around. Humans make the same choices over and over again no matter how bad the choice has been shown to be in the past. All the commentaries seem to agree that this prophecy was fulfilled by Antiochus Epiphanes. He did indeed make deals with those who accepted the worship of his gods over Yahweh, not just over but in place of. In the politics of today we see laws passes to favor the unrighteous lustful acts of man that are plainly against Yahweh's known will. Even as Yahweh raised up a family of righteousness in the Maccabees so He will do again, hopefully in our land and our lifetime.]
(Heb 13:1-3 TLV) Let brotherly love continue. 13:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers—for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it. 13:3 Remember the prisoners as if you were fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you also were suffering bodily.
[Today when people are afraid of close proximity many will be called to help strangers not just family and friends. I see the world doing this while I hear a quite grumbling from the churches with the question: where were those knocking on their doors today, where were they yesterday with their time and funds? Today is the time for Yahweh's people to show their faith by their actions. If the churches had a proper spirit they would welcome those strangers asking for help. Why? Because they are also Yahweh's children, even if disobedient children. Our kindness [righteousness] may draw them to Him who is the author of love.]]
(Heb 13:4 TLV) Let marriage be held in honor among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for Almighty Yahweh will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
[It is not my job to judge every little thing in an others life style, but out right sin is never to be overlooked. Some are marrying outside the laws of man and claiming to be married in Yahweh's sight, and if their hearts and motives are pure they may well be doing right. But many are using it as an vehicle for jumping into relationships and then bailing when the shoe pinches. This is unrighteous plain and simple.]
(Heb 13:5-6 TLV) Keep your lifestyle free from the love of money, and be content with what you have. For Yahweh Himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you,” 13:6 so that with confidence we say, “The Most High is my helper; I will not fear. What will man do to me?”
[When the Rabbis warned the Jews in Germany and Europe to flee before the Nazis came into full power they refused to leave early on, except for a few and they took their wealth with them. Later they could leave, but not their assets, so many stayed and were later put in prison to die by the thousands. There are many fleeing this land and taking their wealth with them, but where will they go and what will happen to them we cannot know. For the vast masses without the possibility of flight Yahweh will be the only defense. Have you, are you, living a life that is entitled to His help through your obedience to, and acceptance of His Son?]
(Heb 13:7-9 TLV) Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of Yahweh to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. 13:8 Yahshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 13:9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace—not by foods that have not benefited those occupied by them.
[Look at the life style of those whose teachings you listen to. Are they living in faith on Yahweh or the $'s coming to them from their teachings. Those who serve are entitled to a living, not a manor. Be sure to check it out for if they have waxed rich on His word have they fed the hungry, helped the poor, the widow, the homeless?]
(Heb 13:10-14 TLV) We have an altar from which those serving in the tabernacle have no right to eat. 13:11 For the bodies of those animals—whose blood is brought into the set-apart places by the kohen gadol as an offering for sin—are burned outside the camp. 13:12 Therefore, to make the people set-apart through His own blood, Yahshua also suffered outside the gate. 13:13 So let us go to Him outside the camp, bearing His disgrace. 13:14 For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one that is to come.
[Yahshua is our altar and those who have not accepted His offer of covering cannot lay claim to Yahweh's forgiveness for Yahshua is the door set before man through which a man must choose of his own free will. For those who have entered in at this door there will be troubles on all fronts, but never forget that we have one who has walked this path before us so it is safe to follow where He leads. His path is the only one that leads home to our Father.]
(Heb 13:15-18 TLV) Through Yahshua then, let us continually offer up to Yahweh a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips giving thanks to His name. 13:16 Do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices Almighty is well pleased.
13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as ones who must give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no benefit to you. 13:18 Pray for us, for we are convinced that we have a clear conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.
[Here is our answer to the question of how should we be living today! Let our lips be full of praise for Yahweh and Yahshua. Let us remember before the world the gifts He has given, directly and through others of His children. Not all of His children obey Him, but all are still His children and He uses the worldly ones to help the obedient ones from time to time. We need to remember that no matter how small our provisions they are enough to share for Yahweh can and does stretch the barest provisions to feed the multitudes even today. And yes I do feel a responsibility toward all who hear and read my words even the ones I have never met and they are scattered across the country. I still pray for individuals when Yahweh brings their names to my mind for it is still my duty and privilege to never give up on their obtaining the strength to step back on the path I was privileged to show them. If I a mere human can do this just imagine what heaven is doing for them.]
(Rev 22:1-5 TLV) Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life—bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of Almighty and of the Lamb 22:2 down the middle of the city’s street. On either side of the river was a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 22:3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of Almighty and of the Lamb shall be in the city, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 22:5 Night shall be no more, and people will have no need for lamplight or sunlight—for Yahweh Almighty will shine on them. And they shall reign forever and ever!
[The home of the redeemed! We will all eat those leaves for we all have emotions and thoughts not given to living together in peace, so the need for those leaves. We will see Yahweh face to face and Yahshua as well. To be able to embrace the one who died for me and to thank the one who caused it to be will be enough for me, but there will be more, much more to delight in and it is my prayer we will be a complete circle, none of our sisters or brothers missing. That is the reason for this ministry!]
