Judgment and Salvation
September 19, 2020
[What is in store for the people of this earth? Is It even at the door?]
Isa 65:1 I am sought of them that asked not for Me; I am found of them that sought Me not: I said, Behold Me, behold Me, unto a nation that was not called by My name.
[I like many others believe this speaks of our nation today, but I also believe that each nation the people of Israel passed through or settled in received some of the teachings of Yahweh. Thus, like us, they are without excuse for their refusal to worship Him with the purity He desires. That purity will be the bar we will be judged by if we have opportunity to learn of it. For those who have not had opportunity they will be judged by the opportunities they have had to know good from evil.]
Isa 65:2-5 I have spread out My hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts; 65:3 A people that provoketh Me to anger continually to My face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; 65:4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels; 65:5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am more righteous than thou. These are a smoke in My nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
[At the time this spoke only of Israel and those joined to them. Today, world wide, there are those who claim to worship Yahweh’s Son, Yahshua, and not only refuse both of their names, but refuse to study or keep Torah. It is this behavior I believe that will bring the curses placed on a rebellious Israel, all 12 tribes, to all who refuse obedience and proper worship. Those who think they are more righteous, or set-apart, than other worshipers.]
Isa 65:6-7 Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom, 65:7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith YAHWEH, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed Me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
(Luk 6:38 KJV) Give, and it shall be given unto you; a good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
[I believe this speaks to our generosity and honest dealing with the good and the bad, but I also believe this speaks to our manner of worshiping Yahweh. The two sins repeated are the burning of incense and attributing good to an evil source and evil to Yahweh. How often do we say, ‘that is an act of God/Yahweh’, or ‘Yahweh took them home’, Yahweh could have saved them but He chose not to’. All are accusations of misconduct on Yahweh’s part. If we are honest we know that what goes around comes around. It is not just your and my free choice, but the combined choices of many blending together, that cause most of our daily disasters. As for the burning of incense some religious groups who call on Yahweh and/or Yahshua still have this practice as part of their worship.]
Isa 65:8-10 Thus saith YAHWEH, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for My servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all. 65:9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of My mountains: and Mine elect shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there. 65:10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for My people that have sought Me.
[Judah is even today being restored in the physical. They have yet to stand strong and refuse the evil for the open parading of those espousing abominable behavior occupy their streets, and public places. Yet there are those that have a spiritual drive to right the wrongs played out in the new nation, they have a true understanding of righteousness by action. We pray they will also come to the rightness of a heart insisting on walking in all His light. Those who seek Him will find Him for He is near each of us just waiting for use to invite Him into our hearts through Yahshua who is the gate for all.]
Isa 65:11-16 But ye are they that forsake YAHWEH, that forget My set-apart mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number. 65:12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before Mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not. 65:13 Therefore thus saith the Most High YAHWEH, Behold, My servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, My servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, My servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: 65:14 Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. 65:15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto My chosen: for the Most High YAHWEH shall slay thee, and call His servants by another name: 65:16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the Almighty of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the Almighty of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
[If we are among those who do not answer when we hear that voice that says, ‘come repent and be welcome into My house of love, peace, and plenty’. If we are among those that do not give a positive answer then we will know hunger, thirst, be ashamed, and our names if spoken will be spoken with hate and derision. BUT if we are His true servants we will receive the good things Yahweh has promised those who love Him enough to obey Him. Acts gives a new name for Yahweh’s people that follow the teaching of Yahshua, but are we today following man or scripture? Yahweh has promised to remember our past sins no more, and really isn’t He the only one who can really forget?]
(Act 11:26 KJV) And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
[For years I proudly accepted the name Christian. Now I would have to say this is no longer true for I do not follow their teachings of setting aside parts of scripture as no longer relevant stating that since Yahshua paid the price for all sin that obedience to the Torah, called law, is no longer required. We have but to follow Yahshua’s example and all will be acceptable to Yahweh. Still they do not do even that, having set aside His name, His Sabbath, His feasts, His calendar, and His call to obedience. Now I am a Follower of Scripture and I strive to keep that which Christianity has discarded, claiming freedom in their walk of disobedience.]
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
[What follows will come about in Yahweh’s perfect timing. Where it will happen is plain, it will be in the newly created heavens and earth. Not what we experience in this earth and this lifetime. The when it will happen has been discussed and argued about since it was written. Some claim its fulfillment will never come as Judah has never walked in complete obedience, nor ever kept the Sabbath as a whole nation. Scripture plainly states this will be in the NEW EARTH, not in this time we are occupying now. Therefore it is error to teach the promise is for this life time.]
Isa 65:18-20 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
(Rev 21:1-4 KJV) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 21:2 And I John saw the set-apart city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Almighty out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Almighty is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Yahweh Himself shall be with them, and be their Almighty. 21:4 And Almighty shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
[Both Isiah and Revelation speak of the New Heaven and New Earth but Isiah speaks of death and sinning. How can this be reconciled?
John Gill rationalizes that Isiah is saying: ‘No more crib death, no more old age, and if there were sinners the long life would be a curse.’
Revelation plainly states that all those former things have passed away and that is a promise we all hang on to. Really Mr. Gill’s reasoning does follow the way the sages have gone before, that is, scripture gives us a thought simply put, then later gives us more light on the same subject. One does not set the other aside, but strengthens and expands our understanding.]
Isa 65:21-23 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. 65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of My people, and Mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. 65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them.
[The new heaven and new earth will be familiar to us for our occupation will be to provide houses and food for our families. Just think we will all be farmers.
When it speaks of children I do not think that is our blood children only, but those of any age who we have spoken to or led by example into the kingdom. This time and place is not spoken of as heaven, it is plainly on earth in both scripture.]
Isa 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
[No more wait, trust, and see what will be. Instant gratification at last.]
(1Co 15:50-55 KJV) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Almighty; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
[Because we will all be changed into willingly righteous worshipers of Yahweh it will be safe to bless us with our hearts desires which will be pure.]
(1Co 15:22-28 KJV) For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive. 15:23 But every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah's at His coming. 15:24 Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to Yahweh, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 15:25 For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet. 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 15:27 For He hath put all things under His feet. But when He saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that He is excepted, which did put all things under Him. 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that Yahweh may be all in all.(Zec 14:1...9 KJV) Behold, the day of YAHWEH cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 14:9 And YAHWEH shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one YAHWEH, and His name one.
[That day is a day to be feared by those rejecting Yahweh and/or Yahshua. The promises given, both for evil and for good, for that time do not belong with those given for the New Earth and New Heavens.]
(Zec 14:10-11 KJV) All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's wine presses. 14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
[Jerusalem is not a safe place to live, nor is any city in the world at this time. So this is future, not present, nor past. It will come to past because there is no promise of relief if they repent.]
(Zec 14:12 KJV) And this shall be the plague wherewith YAHWEH will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
[This matches the first bowl of punishment in Revelation.]
(Rev 16:1-2 KJV) And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of Almighty upon the earth. 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
[This would place the Day of the Most High Yahweh’s recompense after the resurrection of the righteous.]
(Zec 14:13-16 KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from YAHWEH shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour. 14:14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. 14:15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague. 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, YAHWEH of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
(Zec 14:17-19 KJV) And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, YAHWEH of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith YAHWEH will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
[Since all the unrighteous who have chosen to accept the mark of the beast that lets them buy and sell will be killed at Yahshua’s appearing to take us home this has to take place before that time.]
Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain, saith YAHWEH.
[This promise and those preceding it are only for the time when the earth has been re-created, no sinner shall enter in to disturb the peace of Yahweh’s kingdom.
Is that not what we all long for? Is that not what we are striving to obtain as we study and apply scripture to our lives?
If that has not been your plan for your future please consider it now.]
