Yahweh’s Law, Yahshua’s Law

August 29, 2020

[Many claim Yahweh’s way was harder than Yahshua’s teachings, but is that truth?]

(Mal 2:1-9 KJV) And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give honor unto My name, saith YAHWEH of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. 2:4 And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that My covenant might be with Levi, saith YAHWEH of hosts. 2:5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared Me, and was afraid before My name. 2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. 2:7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of YAHWEH of hosts. 2:8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith YAHWEH of hosts. 2:9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

(Jer 16:19 KJV) O YAHWEH, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

(Amo 2:4 KJV) Thus saith the YAHWEH; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the YAHWEH, and have not kept His commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

Partial H5375 A primitive root; to lift, in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively, absolutely and relatively: - accept, advance, arise, (able to, [armour], suffer to) bear (-er, up), bring (forth), burn, carry (away), cast, contain, desire, ease, exact, exalt (self), extol, fetch, forgive, furnish, further, give, go on, help, high, hold up, honourable (+ man), lade, lay, lift (self) up, lofty, marry, magnify, X needs, obtain, pardon, raise (up), receive, regard, respect, set (up), spare, stir up, + swear, take (away, up), X utterly, wear, yield.

[Malachi was the last prophet sent to Israel and his message was clear, the priests had lead the people into mixed worship. As their punishment their office, and all who followed their teachings, would be debased in the sight of all who came in contact with them. They showed favoritism to the rich and their friends and did nothing to help the poor, the widow, or the fatherless. Yahweh is not speaking against the law, but against the miss applications of the law by those charged with guarding it. These are the lies our fathers inherited and owned as truth.]

(Mal 2:11-17 KJV) Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the set-apartness of YAHWEH which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange mighty one. 2:12 YAHWEH will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto YAHWEH of hosts.

2:13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of YAHWEH with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand. 2:14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because YAHWEH hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. 2:15 And did not He make one? Yet had He the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That He might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

2:16 For YAHWEH, the Almighty of Israel, saith that He hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith YAHWEH of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. 2:17 Ye have wearied YAHWEH with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied Him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of YAHWEH, and He delighteth in them; or, Where is the Almighty of judgment?

[Married or just living together as if married there is an implied promise of commitment. It is not strange that Yahweh mentions the false teachings and then follows up with His complaint against those who are not true to the first woman they mate with. He tells us that action pollutes the DNA and the children will not inherit a pure lineage in the physical or the spiritual. When we look at our country today we see the failure of family structure, and the falling away from scriptures true teachings. All of this has led to the mess we are living in today. The family is where children are suppose to learn of Yahweh and Yahshua and also learn to trust and obey those in authority. Without a healthy family basis a country cannot maintain a healthy political basis. Malachi, the last prophet in the Old Testament, was followed by 400 years of silence. The people of all ranks have been warned, as have those in authority. Judgment is promised and will come, maybe not today, but it will come for the mouth of Yahweh can only speak truth.]

(Mat 5:17-19 KJV) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

[Yahshua is to be our example of living a life pleasing to Yahweh and how to apply the principals taught in scripture. There is only one truly new thing in the Good News portion of scriptures.]

(Joh 13:34-35 KJV) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.

[How has He loved us? To the death. But before we die we are to have a living concern for each other, a concern that pushes us to act toward others in a ‘let me help please’ attitude. Yes it is our duty, but let us pray Yahweh to change our hearts so we see it as a privilege to help each other in a loving way.]

(Mat 7:1-5 KJV) Judge not, that ye be not judged. 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

[If we are obeying the 11th commandment any judging will be a question as in: ‘What can I do to help fix ___? Not condemnation for stepping off the narrow path we are all to walk. By the same token we are to accept the offer of others when we need help. I know it is sometimes hard to accept correction without giving it back to the one who offers it, but it is worth the extra effort at self control to have lives in line with Yahweh and Yahshua.]

(Mat 7:6 KJV) Give not that which is set-apart unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

[A knowledge of Yahweh’s law, teachings and instructions, are truly set-apart from what the world has to offer. So! Do not waste it on those who do not wish to hear it.]

(Mat 7:7-8 KJV) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

[Yahweh nor Yahshua do not push themselves on you. You will have to ask them in. By the same token if you seek them and their knowledge they will gladly share them with you. Refuse to seek and you will surely be left standing on the outside of the pearly gates.]

(Mat 7:9-12 KJV) Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him? 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

[Love, as members of your family, each other in ways that build not destroy. Be willing to share what you have been gifted with from above where all good originates. Many are separated, by their decision to follow this path we are on, from their family of origin, and from the former fellowships they enjoyed and maybe depended on. This is not an easy way of life given the worlds’ opinion of our beliefs, but it is a life of certainty.]

(Mat 7:13-14 KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

[We have found the way. The path that leads home, let us strive to help each other stay the course and receive the reward.]

(Mat 7:15-20 KJV) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

[Remember not to judge? But we do have to make judgments regarding whose person we will accept as authorities in scripture. Their personal life is a truer measure of their walk than their public persona. If it is a closed book then why is it closed and not open as we are to be?]

(Mat 7:21-23 KJV) Not every one that saith unto Me, Master, Master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

[For those that would set aside parts of scripture this is a wake up call. Only those that do the will of Yahweh shall enter the kingdom of heaven. His will is clearly spelled out in the first five books of scripture, no where will you find scripture that says, ‘I Yahweh have set aside My rules for a righteous life given before Yahshua came to this earth as a babe.’ All Yahshua taught has it basis in Torah. Yahweh uses a progressive teaching style. He gives the heart of the law, what it is to accomplish, and later He gives more details on how this is to look in action. Yahshua’s teaching are the polish at the end of the book. Add it all together and you will find love everywhere.]

(Mat 7:24-29 KJV) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 7:28 And it came to pass, when Yahshua had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine: 7:29 For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

[Let us be sure our foundation is built on the rock, that rock is Yahweh’s teachings for Yahweh and Yahshua are in complete agreement, has Yahshua not stated that, I and My Father are one, therefore they are teaching the same righteousness.]

(Mat 11:12-15 KJV) And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

(Luk 7:29-30 KJV) And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified Yahweh, being baptized with the baptism of John. 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of Yahweh against themselves, being not baptized of him.

[With the preaching of John the Baptist the common people flocked to hear him and received the good news of the forgiveness of sins through repentance and baptism. Why did not the Pharisees and lawyers enter in? Because it would have required them to admit they were no different than anybody else in that all have sinned. Pride at work.]

(Mat 22:36-40 KJV) Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 22:37 Yahshua said unto him, Thou shalt love the Most High thy Almighty with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

[Thou shalt love is the heart of Yahweh and all His commandments. If we love Him as we should then the second is easy for we do it that we might remain in the favor of our first love, Yahweh. If you love Me you will love My children because they came from Me and are dear to Me, even when they do not acknowledge Me.]

(Joh 1:15-20 KJV) John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me. 1:16 And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Yahshua Messiah. 1:18 No man hath seen Almighty at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him. 1:19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

1:20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Messiah.

[John gave witness as did Stephan before they stoned him. Are we giving the same, unchanged witness?]

(Act 15:14-21 KJV) Simeon hath declared how Almighty at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for His name. 15:15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, 15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 15:17 That the residue of men might seek after the Most High, and all the Gentiles, upon whom My name is called, saith the Most High, who doeth all these things. 15:18 Known unto Almighty are all His works from the beginning of the world. 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to Almighty: 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

[The nation of Israel is made up of the descendants of Gentiles. New converts were give a few basic teachings and then instructed to attend the synagogue on the Sabbath to learn the rest of Yahweh’s teachings as given to Moses. When we study Torah it is not to learn what the people did, but to learn what Yahweh requires from us so we can enter into His kingdom. Yahshua paid for our past sins, not our deliberate future sins, nor for our deliberate ignorance of His requirements. If we refuse to learn that is not ignorance for we are now aware the requirement exists, therefore we are walking in rebellion. There are three scriptures covering the ingathering of the Gentiles and what is required of them, I am sorry to tell you that this is the only version that states verse 21.]

(Rom 2:12-16 KJV) For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before Almighty, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 2:16 In the day when Almighty shall judge the secrets of men by Yahshua Messiah according to my good news.

[What excuse could we offer for ignoring the Torah when there are those who have not read it live it? I have heard; It is to hard, it costs to much in personal loss of what the world offers for today, I would rather have instant gratification than future rewards. No matter the reasoning it is based in false teachings and selfishness. Torah is the life we will live after the recreation of the earth and its heavens. Now is the time of preparation. To refuse to prepare is to prepare to lose!]

(Jas 1:23-27 KJV) For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before Almighty and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

[What we read in scripture is what Yahweh has prepared for us to read, and reading to prepare our hearts to obey. For those that love Yahweh more than this world, for those that acknowledge Yahshua’s sacrifice and accept it, they will be recognizable by the life they lead and the words they speak.]

(Jas 2:14-26 KJV) What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 2:19 Thou believest that there is one Almighty; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed Almighty, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of Almighty. 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

[Faith is trust, so if we trust the promises of Yahweh given in scripture we will be willing to walk heeding His instructions no matter the cost. Yahweh may ask a difficult, nay an impossible thing for you in your own strength. If He asks He will also walk that path with you supplying what you lack to get the job done. He has asked me to do the thing that goes against my flesh and has always given me what it took to do the job. There have been rare occasions when what He asked caused my flesh to burn with resentment but when I became obedient the resentment ceased.]

(1Jn 3:2-10 KJV) Beloved, now are we the sons of Almighty, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure. 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 3:5 And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. 3:6 Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Almighty was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 3:9 Whosoever is born of Almighty doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of Almighty. 3:10 In this the children of Almighty are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of Almighty, neither he that loveth not his brother.

[Do we desire to be like Yahshua? If we do then we will strive to live a pure life, a life that is driven by love of Yahweh and those He has created. All sin yet verse 9 says when we sin we are not His. We come back to Him when we repent, out side of repentance there is no way to be welcomed into the kingdom. Having trouble loving the brethren? Make it a matter of prayer and ask Yahweh to show you His perspective of that person. Works every time when we are willing to listen.]

(1Ti 1:5-11 KJV) Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 1:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. 1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the unrighteous and for sinners, for unholy [those not set-apart to Yahweh] and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 1:11 According to the honorable good news of the blessed Almighty, which was committed to my trust.

[We are to have hearts that love to do the will of our Father, even if we cannot see the why of it. The law is a school teacher not a weapon, a teacher that shows us how much Yahweh loves us to teach us how to live in peace with each other and Him.]

(Heb 8:8-13 KJV) For finding fault with them, He saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Most High, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in My covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Most High. 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a Almighty, and they shall be to me a people: 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Most High: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 8:13 In that He saith, A new covenant, He hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

[The new is born of the old, even as a child is born of its elder. They have the same basis for life, Yahweh and Him recognized and worship according to His dictates rather than the traditions of man. Why will the old fade away? Because it was written in stone and brought death, but the new is written on fleshy hearts and brings life because it becomes a part of us not something outside of our being, something alien to us.]

(2Th 2:1-12 ASV) Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Master Yahshua the Messiah, and our gathering together unto Him; 2:2 to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Master is just at hand;

2:3 let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, 2:4 he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called Almighty or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of Almighty, setting himself forth as Almighty. 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 2:6 And now ye know that which restraineth, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season. 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness [those without the law] doth already work: only there is one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way. 2:8 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Master Yahshua shall slay with the breath of His mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of His coming; 2:9 even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2:11 And for this cause Almighty sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: 2:12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

[I chose the ASV because it uses the phase ‘lawless one’ while the BBE and TS2009 use evil one, and the JUB, Drb, Web. and KJV use wicked one. There are loud voices out there who teach we are to do away with the law. Those are false voices for scripture teaches that those who do not live according to the very law most would push away are called lawless and will be punished for their refusal to accept scripture as their rule of life.]

(2Th -17 ASV) But we are bound to give thanks to Almighty always for you, brethren beloved of the Master, for that Almighty chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 2:14 whereunto He called you through our good news, to the obtaining of the honor of our Master Yahshua Messiah. 2:15 So then, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye were taught, whether by word, or by epistle of ours. 2:16 Now our Master Yahshua Messiah Himself, and Almighty our Father who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, 2:17 comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.

[Do not forget, do not let anyone lead you to doubt, Yahweh has chosen you to love Him and serve Him. Yahweh has provided a means, a door way, for the worse of us to go though that we might be cleansed and made fit to set in His presence and bask in His love. That door is Yahshua and the key that opens that door is the willful giving up of self and repentance for past sins. Upon that act, followed by baptism in Yahshua’s name you became a child living in favor in the heart of Yahweh the Father of us all.

Would you give that up so you can live for self in this life and forfeit the blessings awaiting us in the New Earth and New Heaven? To live lawless is to live without His protection and provision is this life as well as the next.]

[I send these letters out to be edited for technical errors, thus the editor reads what is written. I am happy to say she also critiques my work for she pointed out a very important area I had left out, but that needs to be said so I am adding her remarks with my thanks to her.

Mary, this was sure a long lesson. It is finished but I wanted to comment about a statement you placed near the end.  You say:

The new is born of the old, even as a child is born of its elder. They have the same basis for life, Yahweh recognized and worshiped according to His dictates rather than the traditions of man. Why will the old fade away? Because it was written in stone and brought death, but the new is written on fleshy hearts and brings life because it becomes a part of us not something outside of our being, something alien to us.

I believe that the old covenant failed because the people entered into the covenant with Yahweh by swearing to keep the law on their own will - "all that the Almighty says WE WILL do".  But they forgot that they could do nothing, especially apart from being cleansed of their old sinful habit/nature/character.  They had just come out of Egypt and had forgotten about the true character of Yahweh and His righteousness and their hearts were hardened like the heathen who they had lived among for many years. So as you bring in the concept of the 'writing on stone' that is partly true because the people's hearts were of stone, not exactly that the law was defective or would fail because it was written on stone by the finger of Yahweh.  It would have been better if the people had asked Yahweh to write the law on their stony heart/mind and give in to receiving a heart of flesh in place of stone. :)

The Israelites were not a "Converted" nation but still a "rebellious" people.  They resented Moses for telling them what to do and his leadership role, complaining often and long and loudly about everything they were having to endure.  There was no loving service/sacrifice/thankfulness for the sake of their own freedom, let alone for the vindication/justification/reflection of who Yahweh is before the heathen around them.  So the type of covenant/contract  made between them and Yahweh, based on their own weak promises, they failed to fulfill. Yahshua on the other hand did fulfill all the law and the prophets and demonstrated the victory over every sin & lived a life of righteousness and truth. He did not do it by keeping/practicing the rituals of the law of sacrifices of animals, but by the sacrifice of His own life throughout his whole life abiding in the law of love and service (Yahweh's whole law, 1st and 2nd great commandments).  So He brought in a 'new way' of abiding in the law of Yahweh and also a 'better way' of us obtaining forgiveness for sins.  It is only through Yahshua abiding in us and us abiding in the Word of Yahweh that we can also obtain this victory - for he declares "what He says, HE WILL DO".  He has strength/is our strength and offers us His strength to overcome as He overcame in human flesh.  We now have no excuse.  Our faith in Him is based on sure proof that He DID IT ALL and WILL DO IT ALL just as He said.
